A Self Guided Adventure
(With volunteers to help along the way.)
AKIMBO on Sunday, September 15th is: one neighborhood, one day, three hours, and 60+ dancers, movements artists, musicians, and visual artists.
The audience is invited to use the AKIMBO 2013 Map* to set their own pace and explore different parts of AKIMBO. (*The 2013 MAP will be released in August 2013.)
Volunteers in yellow shirts are scattered throughout the neighborhood to guide audience as needed, answer questions, and contribute to the celebration of community.
Admission
The AKIMBO Teaser, AKIMBO workshops, and AKIMBO Artwalk are FREE and open to the public.
Tickets for the AKIMBO Spree are $10. Tickets for the Spree will be available at the door.

All events are held outside and inside various exhibition spaces, performing arts venues, and business in Baltimore's Station North Arts & Entertainment District.

Parking
There is plenty of street parking in Station North. There is also an attended parking garage on the west side of Charles Street, across from The Charles Theatre and an attended parking lot on the north side of Lanvale Street, between St. Paul and Charles Streets.
Puiblic Transportation
Located one block north of Baltimore's Penn Station, Station North is convenient to public transportation. Both the MARC and Light Rail lines run to Penn Station. The free Charm City Circulator also stops at Penn Station. The 3, 11, 13, 19A, 31, 61, 64 bus routes all stop within Station North. For schedules and fare information, visit www.mtamaryland.com.
